For Nationale Ballet - 'The Same Space' Peter Leung asked me to create a composition entirely made of audio interviews from the dancers performing in the choreography. In the interview the dancers wehere asked about what dancing means for them and how they experience the ballet world. I manipulated the audio to create chord pads, basses, percussion and sound effects and used parts of the interview in a repetitive way, creating rhythmic ostinatos. The piece is twenty minutes in total and you can see the finale parts in the video below.
